Frequently asked Questions
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I offer secure online therapy to clients across Ontario. Sessions are held via a confidential video platform, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Do you offer in-person therapy?
At this time, I offer virtual therapy only. Many clients find online sessions to be just as effective, with the added convenience of attending from home.
What is EMDR therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing or “stuck” memories.
Rather than reliving the past, EMDR allows these experiences to be reprocessed so they lose their emotional intensity and no longer feel overwhelming.

Does EMDR therapy work online?
Yes, EMDR therapy can be effectively delivered online. Using guided eye movements, tapping, or other forms of bilateral stimulation, we can safely process experiences through secure video sessions.
Many clients find online EMDR both comfortable and effective.
How many sessions will I need?
Every person’s experience is different.
Some clients notice meaningful shifts within a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support, especially when working through childhood trauma or long-standing patterns.
We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and regularly check in about your goals.
What issues do you help with?
I work with adults experiencing:
Trauma and past difficult experiences
Anxiety and emotional overwhelm
Low self-worth and people-pleasing patterns
Toxic or emotionally unavailable relationships
Life transitions and stress
My approach is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other.
We’ll talk about:
What’s bringing you to therapy
Your goals
Relevant background information
You’re welcome to share at your own pace, there’s no pressure to go into detail before you feel ready.
Do I need to have a specific trauma to benefit from EMDR?
No.
Many people benefit from EMDR even if they don’t identify a single major traumatic event. Ongoing stress, relationship experiences, or early life dynamics can also be processed through EMDR.
Do you take insurance?
While I do not bill insurance directly, I provide receipts for reimbursement.
Many extended health plans in Ontario cover services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. I recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage.
What are your fees?
Sessions are $175 per 50-minute session.
How do I get started?
